Hello!

I’m Janine Swallow, an enthusiastic designer with a ton of ideas and questions. I am very keen about the design industry and everything it has to offer. I am always looking for that next inspiring thing, even if it’s a cloud in the sky or a photographic opportunity!

The Graphic Design program at Georgian College has given me a strong foundation of skills from pre-press to final products. I believe that hard work, understanding of clients and recognizing their needs, time management and creativity are some of the cornerstones of the industry. I am always open to learning from those around me and willing to share a funny story or two throughout the work day to lighten the mood and get creative juices flowing.

In my spare time when I am not designing or looking for inspiration, I am an avid horse person and participate in driving and riding with several of my horses. I am always up for an adventure and willing to try anything once. My newest hobby is cooking; for me the challenging part is to get the food from the pan to the plate without charring it.

I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge and sharing my ideas with the design world and meeting other designers through gatherings and events.
